Zack
Asselin
Québec champion in Cruiser, a finalist year after year in pumptrack, and already a winner in the United States racing as “Cannonball.” Zack Asselin rides for BMX Drummond in 11-12 Expert and Cruiser 12 & under.

About Zack
Zack Asselin is a BMX racer from Saint-Germain-de-Grantham, in Québec's Centre-du-Québec region. He took his first gate at age 5-6 in Drummondville, in the Coupe du Québec and Canada Cup, and he has been on provincial podiums ever since: BMX racing in the summer, pumptrack championships in the spring, and winning trips to the United States with USA BMX. And when the track gets extreme, he answers: on Drummondville's pro section — the biggest jumps in Québec — he is the youngest rider ever to clear the first jump, at age 10, before launching the second one at 11.
His coach is his dad: Karl Asselin, a certified cycling coach — and a BMX Cruiser racer himself. It's a family, village and track story: in the fall of 2025 Zack was one of the young demo riders at the official opening of Saint-Germain-de-Grantham's new pumptrack, and that same fall he was already doing a radio interview about his sport.
